Organization is everything. When things at home are out of sorts I can't think straight, my mind becomes cluttered and overwhelmed! I try hard to keep things in order, but I have been known to rip a room a part in 20 seconds flat when I'm stressing or running late. My solution is when I'm having one of these moments, it's crucial that I take a few minutes before bed to deal with it. I view it as brushing my teeth. I try go to never go to sleep with things unorganized because you are setting yourself up for a chaotic morning. Nip it in the bud. Just my experience :) I'm going to do a full closet post later.
